Heather Zuchowski is a mother, Art Therapist, coach, creative, and artist deeply committed to mentoring and supporting others on their journey toward healing and personal growth. With a rich background spanning trauma-informed art therapy, professional coaching, and recovery coaching, Heather integrates these diverse disciplines to offer a compassionate and holistic approach to mentoring.

Her extensive career includes work across schools, state mental health services, non-profits, wellness centers, outreach programs, and private practice. Having lived and worked internationally in Canada, China, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States, Heather brings a unique global perspective and cultural sensitivity to her practice. She has also founded a breast cancer awareness charity in China and mentored numerous individuals and groups in creating community programs and art therapy curricula.

Heather’s social entrepreneurship approach focuses on providing free community services as a pathway to generating paying clients, demonstrating how giving and business success can go hand in hand. Her combined expertise as a Senior Certified Professional Coach, Professional Recovery Coach, and SHE RECOVERS® Coach Designate, along with her art therapy training, uniquely positions her to guide others through healing, creativity, and empowerment.

Session Description:

Mentoring Through Creativity and Social Entrepreneurship: Healing, Giving, and Growing

In this 40-50 minute session, Heather Zuchowski shares how she sets up and grows her businesses, translating those experiences into mentoring others with a strong focus on social entrepreneurship. She will explore her approach of offering free community services to build trust, impact, and ultimately generate paying clients.

Heather will also relate her background in trauma-informed art therapy to mentoring, highlighting how creativity and healing inform her coaching philosophy while respecting client confidentiality by avoiding specifics about her client work.

The talk will conclude with a 10-minute Q&A session to engage participants and deepen the conversation.
